The future: how do we imagine a world worth living in? We commissioned 6 poets to each come up with a positive vision of the future, a hopeful dream, a poetopia. These poets will be performing their work, slam style with audience, judges and a rainbow wheel of fortune to determine the order of events.

The Poetic City Zine Fair will be on in City Walk Arcade from 1pm - 5pm on the same day, hosted by CanberraZine Emporium. So make sure you take this chance to browse zines from Canberra and around Australia while you are in town.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to expected wet weather, Good Future Slam will now take place upstairs at Verity Lane Market in the Sydney Building. The markets can be accessed from Northbourne Avenue and from Verity Lane. There are two staircases - use the stairs on the Verity Lane side to access this event.

This is a free event. Booking is not required but attendees will be asked to check in using the Check In Canberra app.
