The SlamCity Showcase was hosted by Canberra Slam’s Andrew Cox, and featured Naarm (Melbourne)-based performance poet Waffle IronGirl (AKA Es Foong) plus some of Canberra Slam’s exciting new talents: Matt Phung, Yleia Mariano and Angus Verzeilberg, plus the brave poets who got up for the slam, including winner Gabrielle Journey Jones.
